Commuter Options - Shuttle FAQs

How do I get from the METRO transit stops to my final destination on the Tempe campus?

Mill Avenue & Third Street Stop: All FLASH routes stop here.
FLASH Back: Takes passengers directly south on Mill to Gammage Parkway (near the Student Services Building), south on Forest Ave. to Apache Blvd., east on Apache to McAllister Ave., and north on McAllister back to Lot 59. It also stops at the light rail station at University Dr. and Rural Rd. This is the quickest way around campus.
FLASH Forward: Stops on the east side of Mill Ave. and goes directly north to Lot 59.
FLASH to University: Stops on the west side of Mill Ave. and quickly transports passengers to the core of
campus by going east on University Dr.
*Please note, the FLASH to University does not operate during semester breaks or summer sessions.

Fifth Street & College Avenue Stop: Passengers disembarking here can easily reach the core of campus by walking south along College Ave. straight to campus. Additionally, they can take the Orbit Jupiter (Forward or Back) to get around campus or can take the Orbit Mercury or Earth and go east on University Dr.

University Drive & Rural Road Stop: The FLASH Forward and Back, McAllister Shuttle and the Orbit Jupiter make stops at this station for passengers to board in order to get around campus. Passengers may also walk directly west on Tyler St. and be on campus within minutes.
